- Select at least two PDFs. Their combined size must fit the upload limit.
- Arrange the files in the order you want before merging. Check the first page of each input to identify it.
- Download the merged PDF and check its page count, sequence and orientation.
Example: put a brief before its budget appendix
Download both two-page PDFs below. Upload Brief and schedule first, then Budget and review. Arrange the inputs so the brief comes before the appendix. The combined input must fit the current 4 MB request limit.
Merge the files and open the downloaded PDF. The expected sequence is Project brief, Schedule, Budget, Review checklist. The result should have four pages. If the budget appears first, change the input order and merge again.
Merging combines existing PDF pages. It does not make scanned text searchable, reduce file size automatically or validate the claims inside the document. Use OCR separately for a searchable scan.
Try it with a practice file
These small files contain synthetic training content. Download a file, then select it in the tool; downloading does not start a conversion or send text to AI.
Check your result
- The result has four pages and starts with Project brief.
- The last page is Review checklist and no section is duplicated.
- For mixed source documents, inspect orientation and page sizes.
Common questions
Can I merge scans and text PDFs together?
Yes, supported PDF pages can be combined, but a scanned page remains an image unless you run OCR.
Does merging compress a PDF?
Do not expect compression. The resulting size depends on the source PDFs and their embedded resources.
